RAWALPINDI: Allied forces in Afghanistan should start a dialogue to tackle the law and order problem in the war-torn country, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Tariq Majid said on Tuesday. He was talking to Britain’s Chief of General Staff General David Richards who called on him at the Joint Staff Headquarters, Chaklala. According to an ISPR statement, the two officials exchanged views on the region’s security situation, bilateral defence cooperation and the ongoing military offensive in South Waziristan.
